Oh how time flies.
So, the first week was pretty dang tough, the second week was about a thousand times better, and now as we near the beginning of our third week I am thinking I am starting to get the hang of this whole newborn thing.
Allouette could not be a better baby, she is one happy girl that has pretty much camped out at the breast over the last two weeks. I think we spend 50% of our day napping, 49% nursing and the remaining 1% just hanging out. She really changes so much every single day, it makes me sad to know that as each day passes we will never get it back again. These are the moments.
Both Obie and Boston seem to be adjusting well to the newest Bird addition and while the cat mostly runs away from LuLu, Obie hangs around her constantly wanting to lick her.
After keeping her home for two weeks we plan to get out a little more this week, perhaps hit up the grocery store and make it to church on Sunday. With the weather warming up and the sun shinning it will be good to get out of the house.
Her blessing is scheduled for March 27th and both my parents and Learon's dad will be here to celebrate with us. After many hours searching online, I finally found a little white dress for her to wear and then keep for her future daughter. It was a pretty exciting purchase!
Other than that, life just keeps on marching forward and we are all enjoying the ride.
